How Do I Look?

My Rescue Story

Jinxie was a SNR kitty by a local rescue 9 years ago and released back to her original space outside of a commercial warehouse in Spruce Grove where she lived alone for 8 years. She was noticed by a community member looking for food in the cold February of 2025 at a dumpster. They couldn’t leave her to fend for herself so decided to trap her and bring her into a warm home to give her a better life. She currently enjoy her own room with access to a private catio, but can remain guarded outside of her safe place most likely due to the resident cats.

As a courtesy post, Zoe’s has not met “Jinxie”. We facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We make sure the animal is up to date on vet care, spayed/neutered – Zoe’s does not personally know the animal. It is the adopters’ responsibility to do their due diligence – ask for vet records, a trial period, and microchip information to have it changed

What am I like?

Let me tell you!

My name is Little Jinxie. Some nice humans came to my rescue a whole year ago as they witnessed me looking for my next meal. They decided to offer me a fresh start, and boy did I luck out! I have my own room and a special wrap around deck my foster mom calls a catio, and thank goodness for that because I have to share my foster mom with 7 cats! So here is a day in the life of Jinxie… I leave my super cool room and venture into the rest of the house when BAM! This one cat dude thinks everyone wants to be his friend and play with him and he..tries..to..play..with..me. Can you believe this guy? My dude, I am here for one thing and one thing only, foster mom snuggles and boops… ok two things. I also like churus. That’s about the only time I cozy up to the other kitties, when foster mom is feeding us treats. A girls gotta eat! I love my foster mom but its time I find my own place, somewhere where I can share my affection with my humans and I can feel comfortable and calm and not have to deal with crazy attention seeking kittens.

How do I act?

none, though when that strange cat mentioned above tries to bulldoze me, I screech as loud as I can to sound the alarms.

My Health is Very Important!

I have had a dental to remove most of my front teeth, when I came into care most of them were broken or missing probably from me having to scavenge for my food. Besides needing to be on a wet/soft food diet, I am in great health.
