What am I like?

Let me tell you!

Hi, I’m Citrine, and I’m a gentle girl with a soft heart and an even softer spot for snacks. I may be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, you’ll see just how sweet I really am. I’m a smart cookie (especially when treats are involved), and I’m already learning so much about this whole “living in a home” thing. New situations can feel a bit scary, but I’m working hard on being brave every single day. I have a calm, easygoing nature and love just quietly being near my people. Toys are still a bit confusing to me, but I’m curious and open to learning what all the fuss is about. What I do know is that I absolutely love a good game of chase in the yard – it’s my favorite kind of fun. I’m gentle in everything I do and would make a lovely, peaceful companion. With a little patience and encouragement, I know my confidence will continue to grow. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful pup to share your life (and maybe your snacks), I think we’d make the perfect match.

How do I act?

Living in a house is new to me so I am learning all about house training, crate training, and basic manners in my foster home. I’m quite scared of being on leash so I will need a home with a yard. I much prefer my people to be home and will cry when left alone so I need a home with no shared walls and people who aren’t gone long hours. I’m a smart girl who likes to learn and is looking for a patient home who will continue working on my confidence. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. You can find a list of great trainers at www.albertaforcefreealliance.com.

My Health is Very Important!

I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe’s cannot guarantee what breeds are in me.

Ready to Adopt Me?

Our adoption policies/process can be found here. Please review it prior to filling out an adoption application, as it can help you determine whether our rescue is the right fit for your needs. Puppies must attend force-free puppy classes. Make sure you can afford the extra expense, as it is a requirement to buy your classes prior to pick up. (They do not give refunds).
