We love our volunteers!

Zoe’s is made up of a diverse group of volunteers who have the common goal of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming needy animals in the Edmonton area. We don’t have a physical shelter, so we coordinate mainly through social media to take care of all of the tasks associated with animal rescue, from animal transport to event organization to photography and training. Our Facebook group is kind of like a take-a-penny-leave-a-penny jar: we post when we need help, and we post when we have help to give. This is one of the things that makes Zoe’s such a neat organization: our system allows volunteers to give only what they can. You can take on just the odd task here and there, or you can take on a larger commitment. Sound like something you want to be a part of?

  • Grant Writer
  • Animal Socialization, Dog Walking, Cleaning up after litters, Organizing Supplies. (Some locations up to 25 minutes outside of Edmonton)
  • Fundraising
  • Events Team
  • Website maintenance
